This is our pavillion name.

Ji-Midori; Greenspaces for Our Community, refers to miscellaneous trees, forest surrounding houses, rice paddies, fields, satoyama,* and park trees. They are loved by the community people.

* Satoyama; traditional rural forest landscapes integrated with village and cultivated areas

愛知万博 地球市民村 NPO birth

We wish to increase more Ji-Midori in our neighborhood and create a community where humans and nature can coexist in mutual prosperity.

Program

To bring back nature into our daily life, it is important to polish our sensibilities to neighboring nature. Our pavilion presents various programs to guide your mind to “feel the sign of nature.

○ - Creating "Specter Seedoro"

Program concept is “Feel the sign of Green Specter Seedoro in town!”

Visitors are guided to do the following:

1. Think of a green in the neighborhood.

2. Image a specter which is protecting the green.

3. Create the specter with plant seeds and clay.

4. Take it home and place it on the earth.

5. The specter will sprout before long!

○ - Concert with a natural rhythm!

Whispers from trees and bugs… Listen to their voices and let’s make it to your own music and rhythm.

○ - Workshop to learn your imagined scenery!

Where does your mind live? What place makes your mind peaceful? Where would you like to live in the future?
Let’s find your imagined scenery and your true life style!

- Give us your Vision Flag for a green community for the future!

We welcome your vision flag filled with your ideas about your dream town and how to build it, and will display it in the expo pavilion.

Join us in the expo with your vision flag! a How to join us
